There is one thing we know about politicians in the NT, you cannot trust them very far. The public display of Chief Minister Gunner’s address at the so-called “Freedom Protest” last Saturday may have been part of a Labor Party strategy.
What purpose would a deliberate release of Gunner’s address serve?
It would discredit the protesters and flip the story to the safety of Gunner’s wife and child.
Perhaps Jamie Chalker rather than the Labor Party arranged the whole thing. We will never know.
It could just be part of Gunner’s exit strategy from politics. Who is he negotiating with for his next job?
