Boundless Delays

One of the simple tactics that government can use to frustrate members of the public from shining a big light into the dark recesses of the bureaucracy is delay.

Delay, simply doing nothing being totally silent works a treat to slow down and possibly make people give up on whatever they have embarked on. Be it a simple request for information or a more formal request in the form of a Freedom of Information Application stalling is not only allowed it is very common.
