Boundless Investigators

The Northern Territory can employ investigators who are not registered as investigators. The government can employ anyone as an investigator. This effectively means the government can almost do what it likes when it comes to investigations.

Why not investigate the investigators? There are a few things that you can do to start the process once you have the name of the investigator.

1. ABN Lookup https://abr.business.gov.au/Search

2. Once you have an ABN for the investigator you can use that to find if the investigator has a business name. Here is an example that the Trust recently did for a consultant in Darwin who was given a tender under questionable circumstances.

We began by searching for the name in the ABN Lookup and then found that the same ABN was also for a a business name. It is so easy.
