DCC Using Old Techniques To “Misplace” Letter

Reports of a lost and then found again letter at the Darwin City Council are reminiscent of the old adage “it fell behind the filing cabinet” or there was an administrative oversight. Talk about putting the letter at the bottom of the wrong pile!

Seems like someone was playing political games!  Or alternatively they did not like the content of the letter because it did not align with their vision.

These are the games that constantly go on within the NT Government. Remember that DCC is part of the NT Government.

Perhaps you have heard some of these?

“We apologise for misplacing your letter”.

“We are unable to locate your application”.

“Are you sure that you submitted your application?”

Readers should also note that governments usually send electronic copies of letters via email as well as the physical letter, for example Department of the Chief Minister and Cabinet to the DCC. Then there is the electronic records management system being used by DCC.

Sounds like someone was trying to pull a KON job over the letter! What a great pun, con and Kon.

Junk Mail? Junk ICAC!

G’Day Sir Les here from ICAC, it seems we had an administrative oversight. One of the main reasons we have selected Michael Riches as the new commissioner is because he has worked extensively with junk email files. Cannot wait for Michael to arrive to show us all how these things work.

Anyway we are off for another few taxpayer funded beverages. This technical stuff would make your head spin. And remember Ken is still spruiking his album.

KEN something Big

Remember what Territorians do not know does not hurt them.

WELCOME TO THE SURVEILLANCE SOCIETY

Suddenly people have caught on that Darwin City Council wants to be “Little China”.

Do not be surprised if it is later revealed that some of those in DCC (either elected or employed) are actually agents of the Chinese Government. Perhaps there have been secret payments made overseas as a “kickback” to purchase monitoring equipment (street cameras, face recognition software etc.)?

YOU ARE BEING WATCHED!
